We will still do the photo shoot and dinner at Crazy Horse on Saturday. So, for Friday, here’s a little more scoop for you. We are still going to block off the street in front of the Chamber and the Chamber parking lot for you to park and rotate charging if you want to (in addition to your own hotel charging options). I arranged a shuttle van (2) to transport you from the Chamber office to the Custer Corral (where the Tesla mixer will be held inside) about four blocks to the west. You may want to use the shuttle as the lot at Custer Corral may be muddy. You can hang out in the Chamber building where registration is if the weather doesn’t allow us to be outside while waiting for the shuttle. Everything else is still proceeding to the original plan as to what Rod had sent to you before. Up to 55 cars! See all of you on Friday.
4th Annual Tesla Sounds of Silence Road Trip Custer & The Black Hills of South Dakota
May 19th and 20th 2017 will be our next trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota. For those new to this – it will be the 4th Annual Black Hills Sounds of Silence Road Trip! Last year we had 59 cars and 105 drivers, friends, and spouses attending. Again, tell your friends & sign up by sending me a note to firstname.lastname@example.org. This next year we plan to automate registration on-line but until then I will add your name to the invite list manually.
We will again have a minor registration fee of $30/car to cover the costs of food, drink, entertainment and to get a better count of those planning to attend. Considering your registration packet gives you $10 in “Custer Cash” and an annual pin, this is a pretty good deal.
The Custer Chamber of Commerce Executive Director and host, Dave Ressler (my brother-in-law) has his team will be COMPLETELY on top of the event again.
